Vicki L. Chelf-Lawrence, 67, of Rochester, MN, formerly of Chippewa Falls, passed away on May 6, 2018 at Seasons Hospice of Rochester, MN.

She was born June 3, 1950 in Eau Claire, WI and graduated from Memorial High School in 1968. After graduation she attended Chippewa Valley Technical College for medical coding. She was employed by Mayo Clinic and retired from there after a 32 year distinguished career. Toastmasters International was a large part of her life, she received many awards for her service over the years.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Robert Lawrence of Rochester, MN; daughter, Shannon (Brian) Ackerman of Cape May, NJ; two grandchildren, Brandon Knudsen of Jacksonville, FL and Nicole Knudsen of Cape May, NJ; four step-children, Tony Gray of Mechanicsville, MD, Debbie (Bill) Boeslager of Eau Claire, WI, Fawn Lawrence of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Robert Lawrence of Lake Hallie, WI; five step-grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Josie, Isaac, and Rowan; three sisters, Debbie Kramer of River Falls, WI, Dawn (Ed) Nelson of Burien, WA, and Cheryl (Kevin) Noel of Bonney Lake, WA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Nadine Kramer.

There will be two services held for Vicki. A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, May 11 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2300 Viola Heights Drive, NE, Rochester, MN 55906.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 12 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3335 Stein Blvd., Eau Claire, WI 54701 with Bishop Steve Ashby officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be at Prairie View Cemetery, village of Lake Hallie.
