Elizabeth “Becky” Olson, of Elk Creek, WI was 83 years of age when she died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health Care System in Eau Claire. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Gary; two brothers, Dan and Tom Walter; son-in-law, Joe Pronschinske.
Becky was the daughter of Gustave and Pauline (Oleson) Walter. She married Lloyd O. Olson May 17, 1958 in Eau Claire. He died February 27, 2012.
The couple farmed in Section 36 Valley, rural Independence for many years and then moved to Elk Creek in 1987.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at Chimney Rock Lutheran Church, rural Strum, with Rev. Lisa Watson-Hill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.
