Edwina Smith, 79, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018.
Edwina was born in Dodsonville, Texas to Frank and Annie Breedlove on March 20, 1939.
She met and married her best friend, Jimmie Smith in 1961. They later moved to Andrews, where they raised three children, Adam, Stacy and Tracy. While in Andrews, Edwina worked at Commercial State Bank and retired in 2000 as Secretary to the City Manager of Andrews. At which time they moved to San Angelo where they’ve spent the last eighteen years.
Edwina was admired by many for her strength, dedication and love for our dad, Jimmie. The two were inseparable. Through the years, they touched many lives, in and out of the arena. Then, they traded in ropes for slot machines where they were blessed with a new set of friends through the monthly charters in San Angelo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and her son, Adam.
Edwina is survived by her husband, two daughters, one grandson, Lance and two brothers.
