Obituary of Rebecca Kendall
Rebecca Kendall, 37, of Kingsport went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 6 2017 suddenly at Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was born on July 18, 1980 in Sullivan County to James Kendall and Ramona Freeman Greer. She was a 1998 graduate of Sullivan Central. She liked to be on the water, an avid karaoke singer, and loved her dog, Faith.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her father, James Kendall; grandfather, Al Freeman; grandmother, Ida Mae Kendall; and cousin, Jennifer Freeman.
Rebecca is survived by her mother, Ramona Freeman Greer and husband Mark; sister, Rachael Kendall and Chris Verbal; brother, James Kendall; her very special niece, Abby and nephews, James and Hayden; maternal grandmother, Thelma Freeman; aunts, Regina Clark and Donna Clevenger; uncle, Alvin “Pidge” Freeman; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 12, 2018 at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport from 2pm-4pm.
The family would like to thank the Emergency Room staff at Holston Valley Medical Center for their kindness and care they showed to Rebecca and the family.
