Graveside services for Mrs. Freda Hall will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, with Dr. Marcus Finch officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Freda gained her angel wings after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on May 5, 2018, at 11:41 p.m. in Gulfport, MS, surrounded by her family in her home.
Freda was born February 7, 1934 in Meridian, where she lived most of her life. In the family’s words, “Our beautiful mother, teacher, and councilor left us with a legacy of love for God and family.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Hall; son, Randall Hall; and her parents, Joe and Mamie Garrett.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Boykin Apperson (Ken) of Meridian; son, Jeffery Hall of Gulfport; grandchildren, Brandy Hall Falgout (Rusty) of Meridian, Kyle Boykin (Jessie) of Lawton, OK, Tyler Boykin (Kristina) of Benton, AR, and Justin Hall (Leanne) of Brandon, MS; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Garrett (Anita) of Meridian; nephew, Stan Garrett (Pam) of Philadelphia, MS; and niece, Deanna Branning (Chris) of Bailey, MS.
The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Chapter and/or the Gideons International.
