Iretta Belle Bell, 83, of Westville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

From her birth on December 29, 1934, she nourished people with love, humor and a fun personality.

Belle was born in Humrick, Illinois, where she attended a one-room school house. She was one of 10 children born to Moses and Dora (Loveall) Collom, who preceded her in death.

Belle met and married Orville Bell in 1953 and together they spent 52 wonderful years until his passing in 2005.

Belle took great pride in caring for her husband and children. She loved being a homemaker and always enjoyed cooking and doing her "housework". She was available at a moment's notice to help anyone in need, from cooking a meal to mending clothes. Belle was a favorite to many and the perfect mom to her four children and loved spending time with her grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as "Grandma Belle".

She will dearly be missed by her children, Deborah Sy of Clinton, Tennessee, Randall Bell of Georgetown, Lori (Randy) Gorman of Loudon, Tennessee and Traci (William) Hoopingarner of Tucson, Arizona; her grandchildren, Bryan (Cody) Sy of McKinney, Texas, Chris (Laura) Sy of Nashville, Tennessee, Dakota (Lora) Bell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Cheyenne (Matt Thompson) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Adam Hoopingarner of Tucson, Arizona, Andrew (Danielle) Hoopingarner of Tilton, Illinois, Ryan Tucker of Tucson, Arizona, Justin Hoopingarner of Bainbridge, Indiana and Gregory Gorman of Loudon, Tennessee; she will also be missed by the "Littlins", Teagan, Greyson, Deklyn, Emrys, and Easton; her sisters, Inez Lyday and Shirley Razmus and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Collom.

Belle was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Vernon, Vivian Voyles, Vernard, Ruth Woods, Lois McNulty, Elza Dale, and Leathie; her daughter-in-law, Sandra {Mollet} Bell and her brothers-in-law, Richard Lyday and Thomas Razmus.

Belle loved life and loved her family very much, she always had a smile and a cup of coffee for all who visited her. She enjoyed playing Farkle, working puzzles, sewing quilts, and playing cards.

She lived her life with no regrets and enjoyed family gatherings that included her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
