CHARLES W. MINER, 88, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with his Lord and his wife on May 5, 2018. He was born September 14, 1929, in Smithsburg, MD, to the late Jack and Mary Miner. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia A. Miner; son, Charles D. Miner; and grandson, Jeremy W. Miner.

He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Fouke; sons, Steve Miner; Donald Miner ; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Miner and Fran Alton.

He proudly served as a Veteran of the Korean War and served over 40 years in the Army Reserves (retired). He also retired, after 26 years, from Mack Truck. Charles was a member of Amvets Post 10 and Morris Frock Post 42, The American Legion.

The funeral service will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Graveside military honors provided by Joint Veterans Council and Marine Corp. League of Hagerstown.
