Reverend Steve Miller and Reverend Tom Scarlett will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Cristal Lott and Mr. Richard Thames. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Liberty Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Peyton Lott, John Kimbrough, Davis Lott. Reese Lott, Mike Evans, Mack Cagle, and Ronny Welborn.
Mr. Lott was born on July 12, 1946 in Seminary, Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Lott was the owner and operator of The Corner Lot in Seminary. He retired from the Banking Industry after numerous years of service.
Mr. Lott was an active member and deacon of the Liberty Baptist Church. He served as the Director of Music for the last forty-two years. Mr. Lott was a former member of the Covington County Board of Education. He was a past member of the Collins Rotary Club, and currently serving as a trustee for the Gulf Coast Baptist Seminary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. Lott and Gladys Collier Boyce; one sister, Myrtis Jean Lott Miller; and two brothers, J.L. Lott and Franklin Lott.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Sandra Shoemake Lott of Collins; three sons, and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Dawn Lott of Collins, Mark and Amy Lott of Clinton, and Brian and Cristal Lott of Collins; one brother, B.J. Lott and his wife, Sue of Sumrall; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Lott, Camille Kimbrough, Peyton Lott, John Kimbrough, Davis Lott, Abby Kimbrough, Maggie Lott, and Reese Lott; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
