She was born in Toronto, Canada to the late Frank and Ruth Nelson.
She was a homemaker, and served in the U.S. Army/Air Force.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton Harp of the home; a daughter, Brenna Chronister of Barling; a sister, Carol Jolly of New Jersey; a brother, David Nelson of New Jersey; and a grandchild.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. A private committal of ashes will be held at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
