Elaine Justice Scott, 69, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. Elaine was born December 25, 1948 in Clayton, GA to the late W. Howell Justice and Imogene Ledbetter Justice who survives.

She was married to her husband Weaver Scott for 41 years. Elaine was a caregiver in the nursing field. She loved to knit, read, and solve crossword puzzles, travel, and watch The Voice on TV. She was most of all a loving daughter, wife, mother, and Nana.

Survivors include her husband, Weaver Scott of the home; a daughter, Hallie Scott Driver (Bill) of Waynesville; three grandchildren, Josh Ryan Scott, Emery Elaine Driver, and Owen Kerr Driver; her mother, Imogene L. Justice of Franklin and her brother, Steven Justice of Franklin.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Union United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janet Greene and Rev. Justin Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6p p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
