Travis was raised in the Oklahoma City area. He met and married Adriene Withers in 1951. Together they had four children, Mitch, Clista, Mike, and Paula. He later married Barbara Hamby, March 11, 1967, at Oklahoma City, blending her children, Neal, Shannon, and Sharron, to complete their family. They made their home in California, Woodward, and Mooreland, before settling in Hooker, where they have lived for the past 50+ years. They operated their own construction company, Trademark Construction, very successfully for many years.
He loved fishing, making music playing his guitar and singing, oil painting, and spending time with his precious family. He loved sharing his love for Jesus with all his grandkids and great grandkids.
Besides his parents, Arthur and Bea, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Walker; his daughter, Shannon Campbell; his granddaughter, Stevie Miller; and his great granddaughter, Harley Michele Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara, of the home; three sons, Mitch Walker and wife, LoRetta, of Guymon, Mike Walker of Hooker, and Neal Williams and wife, Sonja, of Alva; three daughters, Clista Fish of Hooker, Paula Brooks and husband, Trent, of Hooker, and Sharron Gorman of Hooker; 25 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; very close family friend, Scott Morrison; other relatives and many friends.
