Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Todd Pick officiating. Burial will follow at Gholson Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rosie was born July 7, 1928, in Hill County, the daughter of Thomas M. and Dora Anne (Campbell) Kissick. She attended Gholson school and graduated from West High School in 1946.
Rosie was united in marriage to Coy Miller on September 21, 1946, in Waco. Coy preceded her in death on November 16, 2013.
Rosie was a secretary for The Associates Finance Company and a homemaker. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She enjoyed painting, needlepoint, writing poetry, genealogy, and especially cross stitching and crocheting.
Rosie is also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Dolly Rodgers and Ruby VanVelthoven.
Survivors include her children Tim Miller and wife Donna of Southlake and Adelia Vrba and husband Jim of Keller; grandchildren, Aaron Rutherford and wife Jennifer, Nathan Miller and wife Chrysanthi, Lyndsey Lofland and husband William and Taylor Vrba; great grandchildren, Brittany, Sydney, Avery, Liam, Liesl, Elias, Coy, Hannah, Jackson, Carson and Anthony; and many nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
