Justa T. (DeVore) Olivere peacefully passed away at the age of 99 on Friday, May 4, 2018. A current resident of Millcroft in Newark, she was a longtime resident of the Colonial Heights neighborhood in Wilmington.

Mrs. Olivere was born in Chester, PA on January 13, 1919, daughter of the late William and Catherine (Boyle) DeVore. She was employed in various capacities throughout her life, and most recently worked in the gift shop at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Olivere was a former member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish and later became a member of Corpus Christi Parish. An avid bingo fan, she enjoyed playing at Absalom Jones and Oak Grove Senior Centers, as well as Millcroft. Mrs. Olivere was proud to have attended the reunions of the 290th Combat Engineers.

Her husband of 50 years, John Olivere, passed away on May 13, 1988.

Mrs. Olivere is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline and Harry Bolinski, Joan and Dennis Wallace; her grandchildren, Bonnie Bolinski, Robert Bolinski, Brian Wallace and wife, Gail; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Alan, Brandon, Kevin, Ethan, Jakob, Chase; her nieces, Anne Herman and Kathy Strosnider.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Christiana Hospital and Seasons Hospice for the care and compassion given to Justa.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Corpus Christi Church, 905 New Road, Elsmere on Wednesday, May 9 from 9:30-10:15AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM, followed by interment in Silverbrook Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Olivere may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 185 Salem Church Road, Newark, DE 19713, or Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713
