Mildred Keene Boykin and her infant daughter, Mildred Diane, died Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the residence on Rt. 3, Meridian. Mrs. Boykin is survived by her husband Walter L. Boykin; mother, Mrs. Annie Mae Pickett Keene, Meridian; six sisters: Mrs. Leonard Robinson, Mrs. Robert C. Knight, Misses Hazel, Ruby, and Nora Keene, Meridian; bother, Stancil Keene of Meridian; grandmother, Mrs. Johnnie Coleman Pickett of Meridian. The bodies remain at the Webb Funeral Home until Monday at 9:45 a.m. Funeral services will be held from Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. The Rev. T.J. O'Neil will officiate and be assisted by A.B. Harmon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active Pallbearers: Eugene Skinner, J.B. Suttles, James Walker, Ernest Crawford, R.B. Gardner, Arnold Pickett, Roy Griffin, and Joe F. Smith. Honorary: all member of the family.
