Joyce Winter, 72, of Poca, WV passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018. She was born to the late David "Tony" and Pauline Muck McClanahan. She was preceded in death by her son, David Emmett Winter.
Joyce was a 1962 graduate of Poca High School. In 1998 she graduated from West Virginia State University College with an Associates Degree in Behavioral Health Science and listed on the Deans' List and America's Who's Who.
She was a member of Kanawha Valley Baptist Church, Eleanor.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, West Virginia Memorial Mausoleum with Pastor John Hage officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
