Services for Edward G. Edgerton, 86, former resident of Boise, who died in Coos Bay, Ore., Thursday at the home of his son, N. H. Edgerton, will be held in Coos Bay this morning, with interment at Cloverdale in Boise Monday.
Mr. Edgerton as a young man studied under Adm. William S. Sims on the old Naval training ship, the Saratoga, and sailed around the world aboard the ship. Before coming west 35 years ago, Mr. Edgerton was associated with the Phoenix Iron company of Philadelphia. He was a member of the All Saints church here. Mrs. Edgerton died last January.
Survivors, in addition to his son in Coos Bay, include two daughters, Mrs. V. T. Harrison of Boise and Mrs. Bert Blondell of Oregon; 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
The McBratney-Alden chapel will announce services.
