Richard was a truck driver and will be remembered as a true family man. He enjoyed bowling, drag racing, working crossword puzzles, and playing board games and card games. Richard was also an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes Fan.
Richard leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Chickie; daughter, Amber Bunting; son, Ricky Bunting, Jr.; siblings, Carol, Dennis, Mary, Gloria, Sheila, Helen and Tommy; as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold; sister, Sherry; and his mother and father-in-law, Emaline Rhoda and Clarence Whitcomb.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday, May 8th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton (419.826.2631). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9th at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor David Rison officiating. Interment will follow at Winameg Cemetery.
