Sandra Carol Duggan, 59, of Lenoir City, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Fort Loudoun Medical Center.
She was a graduate of Tennessee Tech with a B.S. in education. She owned and operated Country Hill Daycare for over 25 years. A member of Kingston Pike Baptist Church, she will be remembered forever for her strong character, generosity, courage, patience, faith and positive attitude. She loved spending time with her grand kids and playing cards with her sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Gardner. She is survived by her husband, Joe Duggan; her children, Patrick Duggan and wife, Gay, Lori Brown and husband, Kevin, and Kelly Ward and husband, Travis; her grandchildren: Amanda, Hannah, Samantha, Mary Beth, Karly and Chase; her mother, Juanita Gardner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Bobby Hanson, Wanda and Taylor Adams, Patricia and David Latham, Melissa and John Cook, and Kimberly and Robert Gray Jr.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward Jr. and Debbie Gardner, Richard Gardner, and Gary and Pat Duggan, sister and brother-in-law, Nora and Bob Lang ofGoodyear, Ariz.; and twenty five nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Friday, July 7 with funeral services following at Kingston Pike Baptist Church with Dr. Ronny Jones officiating. Family and friends gathered Saturday in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment.
