Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Charlie and Darkas Pryor Garner. She was retired from Mohawk Carpets and a Baptist.

Survivors include daughter, Amy Austin Ramsey (Julio) of West Pelzer; son, Doug Austin (Sandy) of Williamston; grandchildren, Dena Francis (Justin), Zachary Austin, Haley Ramsey and Jordan Ramsey (Brittney).

She was predeceased by 15 brothers and sisters.

Burial at Pine Lawn Cemetery, Pelzer.
