Bobby Lynn Burns, 71 of Lubbock passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. He was born January 22, 1947 in Clarksville, Texas to the late George Robert and Katherine (Storey) Burns. After he graduated from Roosevelt High School, Bobby enlisted in the Army and served from 1967-1969 during the Vietnam War. He married Barbara Jeanine (Plant) Burns in November of 1976.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara; three daughters, Angela and Husband Lloyd Mauch of The Colony, Brandi and husband Jason Pena of Lubbock, Tricia and husband Trent Goodwin of McKinney; two sons, Robert and wife Julie Burns of The Colony, Craig and wife Aimee Burns of Crossroads; brother, Ross Burns; two sisters, Ann Lamb, Alice Burleson; twelve grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends; and one great grandchild on the way.

The family would like to thank the VA, Accolade Home Health, Miguel Solis, and Combest Family Funeral Homes for all of their care.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday May 19, 2018 at Trinity Church.
