Kathy L. Anderson, 58, passed away May 2, 2018 at her home.
Born in Tell City, Indiana on June 14, 1959, she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies in 1998 from the University of Evansville. She retired from Res-Care as the residential director for over 20 years, later working with Child Protective Services in Perry County. She was a member of Compassionate Friends, a group that supported one another after losing a child. Her enjoyments included her dog, Storm Anderson, going to the casino, shopping, especially at Kohls, and then sharing her bargains with others.
Surviving is her mother, Louise Baur, Tell City; brothers, Bob Baur (Debbie), Muncie, Indiana and Tim Baur (Libby), Tell City; two grandchildren, Bryce Ridener and Bailee Jo Johnson; nieces and nephews of K.K., Jeremy Baur, Chris Baur (Anita), Kelly Hamilton (Chad), Corey Hernly (Miranda), Courtney Hernly, Casey Hernly and Andi Staats (Kyle); great nieces and nephews, Tyler Baur, Conner Baur, Alex Hamilton, Milo Hamilton, Madelynn Baur, Elliot Baur, Nolan Hernly, Raegan Hernly; Godchildren, Kayleigh Chain and Andi Staats; and Her People, best friend, Helen Kast (Kraig), Libo Baur, Bobbi Jo Ridener (Pooh), Caroline Johnson (Scott), Junior Staats, Kourtney Hentgen, Whitney Hulsman and many wonderful neighbors.
