She married Norman Bud Carter on June 8, 1976. Together they enjoyed singing and making music, especially entertaining seniors for the last 20 years. Juanita also enjoyed painting, camping, travelling, fishing and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Larry (Sherrie) Crosby, Valorie (Bruce) Smith, Joseph (Robin) Ferris, Victoria (Brad) Solomon, Janice Hatfield, step-children Laura (Lynn) Thayer, Robert (Marsha) Carter, Beth (Jerry) Rutter, Jan Holtz, Loretta (Rick) Massey, grandchildren Stacy, Barry, Sara, J.J., Taryn, Adam, Rylee, great grandchildren Desmond, Autumn, Sayla and many step-grandchildren and step-great grand children.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Jamie Crosby and step-son Randy Carter.
A memorial service was held at a later date. Interment was in New Haven Center Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank Belinda, Chaplin Chris and the Great Lakes Hospice staff for the care they provided for Juanita.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Great Lakes Hospice.
