Mary Jo Beauchamp born September 23, 1922 in West Columbia, TX to Ashley and Josephine Rich, died of Pneumonia at the age of 95 on March 15, 2018 in Charleston, South Carolina. She leaves behind one daughter, Renee Beauchamp Skeels of Charleston, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Sadie and Katherine Skeels of Denver, Colorado; one grandson and a great grandson, Ian Harber and his wife Katie of Denton, Texas; two nephews, Russell Beauchamp of Tuleta, TX and Will Beauchamp of Taft, TX and their families. Mary Jo was predeceased by her husband, Charles P. Beauchamp, Jr; two daughters, Janette B. Harber of Denton, Texas, and Claire Beauchamp of Portland, Texas; two son-in-laws, William Harber of Denton, Texas and Dennick Skeels of Atlanta, Georgia.

Mary Jo grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and lived there until 2000, when she joined Renee and her family in Atlanta, Georgia. She worked in the savings and loan business, was active in her church, and loved to play bridge. She is best known for her quiet compassion for others, especially her family, and timeless grace. Mary Jo lived a healthy life until January, 2018 when she suffered two rounds of Pneumonia.

Mary Jo will be buried at Glenwood Cemetery, Beeville, TX, on Saturday, May 12th at 11:00 AM.
