Cynthia "Cindy" Diane Raymond Steele, age 46, of the Bethlehem Community left this world for her final flight home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Duke University Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on August 13, 1971, the daughter of Diane Kindred Raymond and the late Robert Leroy Raymond.
Cindy was self-employed as a nail tech and a member of Millersville Baptist Church. Anytime she could travel, especially cruises, she would go no matter where it was.
She had a special love for her family, especially her grandsons and watching them play ball. Cindy was also an avid movie goer. She was a precious jewel in this world who will forever be in our hearts.
Along with her father she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Raymond & Georgia Jowers.
Along with her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 31 years Jeff Steele of the home; daughter Briattany Lail & husband William of Bethlehem; son Ryan Steele of Hickory; two grandsons Maddox & Kaysen Lail of Bethlehem; sister Angie Kemp of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews; along with her special friend Lisa McCoy of Conover.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at East Taylorsville Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Jamie Steele officiating.
Burial will follow at Millersville Baptist Church Cemetery.
