Megan L. Marshall

Staunton - Megan Lea Marshall, 26, of 49 Fairview Lane, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at her residence. Miss Marshall was born on December 29, 1991 in Staunton, a daughter of Gary T. Marshall and the late Lea Ann (Blackwell) Marshall.

Miss Marshall was a member of Linden Heights Baptist Church and a member of Arc of Augusta. Megan was a people person and she enjoyed playing her little games with friends and her family that she so dearly loved.

In addition to her mother, Megan was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl O. Blackwell and her paternal grandfather, Dewey S. Marshall.

Surviving in addition to Megan's father, is also his fiancée, LiLi Lim of Staunton; maternal grandmother, Audrey (Garrett) Blackwell and paternal grandmother, Dorothy (Dell) Marshall both of Staunton; aunt Cathy (Blackwell) Perry and uncle Roger of Staunton; aunt Lucinda Segneri and husband Laurent of France; two uncles, Greg Marshall and wife Beth of Staunton and Kevin Marshall and wife Kim of Fishersville; special great aunt, Thelma Massey and a number of cousins.

A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Linden Heights Baptist Church by Pastors Luke B. Smith and David Anderson. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Burial will be private in Thornrose Cemetery.

Megan's family wishes to express a special heart felt "Thank You" to all the caregivers for their love, care and support during Megan's life.
