LAMBERT - Patricia Ann
The family of Patricia "Pat" Ann Lambert announces her peaceful passing at the Patriot Manor on May 2, 2018, at the age of 87. Pat was born on June 24, 1930, to August and Amelia (Bischof) Wehner in Johnstown. Pat married her best friend, Grant Lewis "Lew" Lambert on January 27, 1951. Together, Pat and Lew proudly raised four daughters: Lou Ann Hemminger (Allen), Jacqueline M. Knapp (fiancé Douglas Johns), Kay L. Kauffman (Donald), and Patricia J. Miller (Harold "Bill" Jr.). Pat was preceded in death, by parents, brother Richard Wehner and her granddaughter Kayla Kauffman. Pat is survived by husband, daughters, brother Herbert Wehner (Carole) and sister-in-law Donna Wehner. Pat also leaves behind the loves of her life to whom she was Gram, eleven grandchildren: Robert Ketner (fiancée Shelly George), Lisa Schmerer (Doug), Keli Neary (Kevin), Ashlee Knapp, Karlina Kauffman, Cody Miller, Melanie Kauffman, Coltin Miller, Natalie Kauffman, Casadie Miller, and Caven Miller; four great-grandchildren: Stephen Ketner (Heather), Brittany Ketner, Rhiannon Neary, and Bridget Neary; and, her great-great grandson, Bently Ketner. As a true friend to many, Pat earned the nickname, PAL, her husband coined for her. For decades, Pat enjoyed Tuesday night Bingo at the Jerome Fire Hall. Later in life, Pat took pride quilting with her church group at Benscreek Lutheran Church, where she was a longtime member, and stitching beautiful quilt patches for her family. Of her many talents, Pats true gift was crochet. Pat will also be remembered as the best cook, jelly-maker, and chocolatier in town. Visitation will be Monday, May 7, 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville. The family will also accept visitors on Tuesday, May 8, 10:00am at Benscreek Lutheran Church. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Jonathan Adams and Pastor Larry Hoover, will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Custer Cemetery. Donations may be made, in lieu of flowers to: Benscreek Lutheran Church, Jerome Volunteer Fire Company, and the Patriot Manor.
