Antwerp Dec 8 - The sudden death of Herbert Bellinger occurred Wednesday about 2:30.

Mr. Bellinger who resides with his daughter-in-law on the Rockwell Creek road, about 8 miles from Antwerp, was in town during the afternoon doing some trading. He visited the store of W. D. Sims and made some purchases for which he gave Mr. Sims a check and told him he would return soon as there might be some other articles he wished.

He passed on to the store of H. E. Doubles next door and suddenly dropped to the floor, dead. Mr. Doubles ran for aid. As Dr. Perrigo could not be located a call was sent for Dr. Ryan of Philadelphia who arrived within a very short time. The doctor pronounced Mr. Bellinger dead and allowed the body to be taken to the undertaking parlor of G. W. Hall.

Mrs. Bellinger had been visiting her daughter in Antwerp returning only Tuesday. She was notified Wednesday of her husbands death and was expected last evening.

Mr. Bellinger was born Jan 1, 1874 and is 53 years of age. His wife is residing in Mannsville where the family home has been for a number of years. Mr. Bellinger has lived in this locality.

Mr. Bellinger has always been a lumberman.

Besides his wife Mr. Bellinger is survived by ten children, Mrs. Carlton Derush of Antwerp; Raymond and William of Oswego; John of Buffalo; Herbert and Clarence of Mannsville; Mrs. Raliegh Kingsley of Sandy Creek; Helena, Madolyn, Annetta and Katherine of Mannsville; also one brother Earl Levoy of Star Lake; a half brother John and the following half sisters Mrs Pearl Corey of Woods Mills, Mrs. Matthew Hubbard of Evans Mills, Mrs Jessie Swan of Rockwell Creek, and Mrs. Catherine Forney of Watertown. Funeral arrangement are incomplete.

Obituary Herbert Bellinger
Herbert Bellinger of Mannsville died at Antwerp of heart disease, Dec 7, 1927 leaving a wife, five sons, Ray, William, and John of Oswego, Herbert and Clarence of Mannsville and four daughters Mrs. Carl B. Kingsley, Annetta, Helena and Catherine of Mannsville and several sisters. The body will be brought home today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mr. Bellinger had a large real estate holdings in the town of Sandy Creek and Ellsburg.

Antwerp, Dec. 8.—Prayer services were held yesterday in East Antwerp for Herbert Bellinger, who dropped dead in the business section of the town yesterday. The body was taken to Sandy Creek today and funeral services win be held there Saturday at 2:30.
