Mother was born near Big Flat, Arkansas. Due to changes in county lines, in 1923 it was likely Stone County according to vital records.

After a time, the family moved west of Morrilton, Arkansas near the Arkansas River, in the Wilson Township of Pope County. They were recorded there in the 1930 U.S. Census for Pope County. Due to the depression, work was scarce and required some to move in order to find work. Those with a farm background share-cropped in order to survive.

From Pope County they moved to Oklahoma near Westville and close to Barron Fork. After a short time the family moved to a farm near Lincoln, Washington County, Arkansas. In 1932-34 they made their final move to Fayetteville, Arkansas. It was there that she would meet Hubert A Hinkle in church and marry him on 14 December 1941. She followed her husband in many moves while he served out his military career, making many life-long friends along the way.

She dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at a young age. Later in life she became involved in ministry as a lay person in various home prayer groups; and finally to be ordained by a minister. Her interest in Biblical studies was tirelessly a full time joy to her and sharing the same. She was a gifted poet and accumulated over 200 spiritual prose to her credit that are unpublished at this date.

In addition, as a wife and mother to three sons, she fulfilled her daily tasks without complaint and dedication.
She ran her race and finished her course. ---
