Funeral services for Cynthia A. (Faust) Thornton, 49, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Kraft Funeral Service Chapel, 2776 Charlestown Road, with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Friday, April 13, 2007, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was the customer service manager at Wal-Mart on Grant Line Road in New Albany for the past five years.
The daughter of Richard Earl Faust and Marjorie Rita (Gibbs) Garrett, she was born in Clearwater, Fla., on Nov. 21, 1957.
Survivors include her daughter, Brittany Thornton and her fiance Kevin Banet, both of New Albany; grandson, Trenton Banet, New Albany; fiance, Lester Grout Jr., New Albany; stepfather, Walter Garrett, Alabama; sister, Karen McNeal, Alabama; brothers, Edward and Michael Faust, Alabama; step-children, Lester Grout III, Clarksville, Michael Grout, New Albany and Amanda Grout, Clarksville; stepsisters, Dale Pagano and Terrie Holman, both of Alabama.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
