Margaret McClain, 96, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at McLaren's Chapel with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday.
Margaret was born February 12, 1920 in Kansas City, MO. She loved working as an administrative assistant for Peterson Construction Company in Des Moines before retiring to Stuttgart, AR with her husband who worked for Lennox Industries there. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family and hearing about all of her grandchildren's activities.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Donna Wilson; step-son, David McClain; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Verne McClain and her daughter, Judith Valderrama.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a charity of choice.
