Donna Smith Newton, age 88, passed away May 1, 2018. Donna was born in Kaysville, Utah to William Brown and Mary Elena Smith on October 21, 1929.
Donna graduated for Davis High School.
She married Irving Marshall Newton Jr. November 1, 1951 and together they had 3 children.
Donna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked for the telephone company where she met her sweetheart Irving. She retired from the IRS.
She loved to spend free time with family, friends, listening to country music and watching the Utah Jazz.
Donna is survived by her children Marty (Denise) Newton, Roxanne (Curt) Seward, 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, her son Bill, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Our family would like to express sincere thanks to the dedicated medical professionals, staff and residences at Apple Tree Assisted Living Facility for their care and friendship.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Myers Mortuary 5865 S. 1900 W. Roy, UT. Interment will be at the Roy City Cemetery next to Dad.
