Obituary for Norma J Reynolds
Norma J. Reynolds, 62, of Abilene, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Abilene. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 in Clearfork Cemetery, Lueders with Rev. Dennis Huffaker officiating.

Norma was born April 12, 1956 in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of the late Norman Earl and Betty Jane Sharp Reitmeyer. Norma was raised in Hazel Park, Michigan along with her brother, Norman Terry Reitmeyer. Upon reaching adulthood, Norma moved to the state of Georgia, then returned to Hazel Park, and in 1978, made her home in Houston Texas at the age of 20 years old. She married Robert C. Loyselle in 1972 and later married Glen Grant in 1980. Norma married Ronnie Reynolds in Houston, Texas in November, 1993. Norma helped in raising her four step children, Shirlen and Wyatt “Deke” Grant, and Ronda and Michael Reynolds. Norma spent her whole life in the accounting field, starting her career at Sierra Builders, Inc. in 1984. She and Ronnie traveled all over the United States, but mostly in Texas, Louisiana and Mexico. Norma became fully disabled from multiple sclerosis in 2010 at the age of 54 years. Norma spent most of her life caring for her family and Ronnie’s family. Ronnie preceded Norma in death on November 9, 2016.

Left to cherish Norma's memory are her step children; and close friends, Charles Crawford of Houston, and Russell and Sally Mullins of Abilene; and numerous other friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis, 8111 N. Stadium Drive, Houston, Texas 77054 or The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486.
