Daughter of the Claude franklin and Nellie Pierce, she was preceded in death three sisters, Lessie O. Davis, Clarene Pierce and Geraldine Jernigan; and by a brother, Claude Pierce, Jr. She was survived by a sister, Ruth Pierce; and an extended family of relatives and friends. Her funeral was held on May 2, 2019, at the Windsor Assembly of God with The Rev. Chuck Gray officiating.
