Doris Elisabeth Gilbert, 81, of Burkburnett passed away Monday, April 30, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 in the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett with Reverend Duane Perkinson officiating. Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
Doris was born on October 2, 1936 in Berlin, Germany to the late Oswald and Erma Kulke. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Winston Joe Gilbert; and one brother.
She is survived by son Ronald Gilbert and wife Kim of Lake Kickapoo; daughter Michelle Gilbert Farmer of Longview; grandchildren Kessli Hernandez and husband Chris of Wichita Falls, Kyhla Gilbert of Burkburnett, Katreeca Henderson of Sheppard Air Force Base, Nikolai Farmer, Luke Farmer, and Paul Farmer, all of Longview; twelve great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ingrid Wentzel of Hanover, Germany.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Owens and Brumley in Burkburnett.
