Ruth Earlene Miles, 83, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease into the loving arms of God, Friday, April 20, 2018.
Ruth was born in Collinsville, Okla., and lived the remainder of her life in Fort Worth. Ruth received her BS degree in childhood education from Texas Wesleyan (College) University in 1956. She taught her "kids" for 30 years, loving them all and "they" loved her. Many years at Sunrise Elementary under Principal Gertrude Goodspeed. She was very active in all teacher's organizations. Her home church was Chapel Fellowship Church of Saginaw.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Clytie Miles; and sister, Linda Kay Miles on Dec. 5, 2017.
Survivors: Sister, Sue Miles Pfuhl and husband, David of Evans, Colo., and Dorothy Miles Michener; three nieces and a nephew.
Graveside service 2 p.m. Sunday at Whitt Cemetery, Whitt.
