Mr. Avery Delaine Carr age 74 of the Pilot Oak Community passed way at 9:55 PM Tuesday May 1, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of the Pilot Oak Baptist Church and was a retired teacher at the West Kentucky Community and Technical College, welder and farmer. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Janie Elliott Carr, 2 sons- Michael (Ranetta) Carr of Pilot Oak and Robb (Meegan) Carr of York Pennsylvania, 1 daughter- Jayna (Sam) Natividad of Pilot Oak, 2 grandsons- Matt and Auston Carr, 4 granddaughters- Kenzie and Kasi Natividad, Katie and Lizzie Carr, 1 great granddaughter-Avery Lynn Carr, 1 sister Marilyn (Dwain) Yates of Pilot Oak. Delaine was preceded in death by his parents Avery and Robena Wilkins Carr and a granddaughter Kayla Marie Carr. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
