In October 2003, Mom and I went to visit Elbert and Goldie. We had a wonderful time and I fondly remember all the wonderful delights she made for Mom and me. She was simply the best cook! We had a great time visiting and listening to southern gospel music. I'm sure she and Mom are singing together right now. I miss them both!
