Frank Zaccarello, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Frank was born in Dallas, Texas on May 7, 1954 to Ruth (deceased) and Frank (deceased) Zaccarello. During Frank's early years, the family relocated a few times due to his father's career. In the early 1950's, the Zaccarello's returned and settled in Dallas where he eventually graduated from Sunset High School in 1972. After graduation, he attended Control Data Institute and then started a long career in electronics, working for NEC, Rolm Electronics, Siemens, Nortel, Raytheon and ICBS. He met his wife, Cathy, in 1973 and they were married in 1976. They have two children, Alicia Zaccarello Schraeder (born in 1977) and Dante Zaccarello (born in 1981). Frank’s family was everything to him. He spent many weekends at either dance recitals or baseball games, as well as, endless family gatherings. Later in life his grandchildren became a new and constant form of entertainment and activity for him.

Preceding Frank in death are his parents, Ruth and Frank Zaccarello and sister and brother in law, Lana and Roy Turner, Jr.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of almost 42 years, Cathy, and their children: Alicia and Jeff Schraeder, Dante and Melissa Zaccarello; grandchildren: Arabella and Jae Schraeder, Gabriella and Giulianna Zaccarello; sister: Alice Zaccarello; nieces and nephews: Andrea and Doug Darby, Laura and Roy Turner III and Alexis Zaccarello and Matthew Walker; great nieces and nephews: Bill, Sam and Katie Darby, Rachel and Roy Turner IV, John, Joseph and Emma Turner.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Stonebridge United Methodist Church in McKinney, Texas.
