Brown, Mr. Jonathan Dallas, age 65, a resident of Eclectic, AL passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Jackson's Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Gaylord officiating. The interment will follow at Sheppard Cemetery in Eclectic, AL. Mr. Brown served in the United States Navy and retired from the Army Corp of Engineers. He is survived by his daughters, Emily Chambless of Deatsville, AL, Laura Green (William) of Luverne, AL; son, Dallas Brown (Amy) of Tallassee, AL; brother, Billy Brown (Betty) of Eclectic, AL, and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
