Sandra Lou Strickland, age 82, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, in Midlothian.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie. Interment will directly follow services in the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be observed on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 3-5 PM at the funeral home.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Leotis and Mildred Strickland and her sister, Jean Wright.
She is survived by her children, Bill Terry and his wife, Michele, David Terry, Tim Terry and his wife, Marlaine, Chris Ballard and his wife, Kasie, and Matt Ballard and his wife, Myra; sister, Kathy Getzendaner and her husband, Billy; grandchildren, Rachel Torrez, Lydia Schieberl and her husband, Timothy, Elizabeth Walker and her husband, Zach, Benjamin Terry, David Terry, Emily Galloway and her husband, Judson, Austin Terry and his wife, Kaitlyn, Clifton Dillehay, Dylan Ballard, Tessa Ballard, Avery Ballard, Mattie Ballard, Molly Ballard and Macee Ballard; 12 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Kim McCarty, Tommy Wright, Adam Hallmark, Billy Getzendaner, Blake Getzendaner and Katie Getzendaner; and numerous cousins and friends.
