Funeral services for Allen H. Russell, 67, former resident of Jackson, will be held at 10 a m. Tuesday at Mims-Mitchell Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Hilda Padgett Russell; a son, Paul H. Russell of Jackson; five brothers, Max Russell and Lloyd Russell, both of Jackson, Otis Russell and Ernest Russell, both of Gulfport and Jimmy Ralph Russell of Clinton; eight sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lee Laughlin, Mrs. Myrtle Bollman, Mrs. Mildred Craft, Mrs. Doris Burkett, Mrs. Hazel Case and Mrs. Hilda Wheeler, all of Jackson, Mrs. Albertine U Curry of Alvin, Texas, and Mrs. Nell Thompson of Morton.

Mr Russell was associated with Seale-Lily Ice Cream Company in Jackson and was a retired employee of Stephen's Store of Magee. He was a member of the Magee Shriner, past worthy patron of the Order of Lela McRaney Chapter 301 OES of Magee. At the time of his death he was serving as chairman of the board of the Simpson County Welfare Department, and of the Okatoma Water Systems.
