Linda Gail Vanlandingham Hodges passed away Monday April 30, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born October 4, 1950 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Thelma June Vanlandingham of Cold Water, MS and the late George Harvey Vanlandingham. She attended schools in Memphis and lived most of her early life in Memphis. While in Memphis she worked as a secretary for the City of Memphis. She married Ralph Hodges in 1996 and they made their home in Henderson. She worked in the Head Start Department at SWHRA. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and being around family and friends.

Mrs. Hodges is survived by her husband, Ralph Hearn Hodges of Henderson; mother Thelma Vanlandingham of Cold Water, MS, three daughters, Melanie Cox of Collierville, Amanda Joyner Hollow Rock and Jo Anna Stallings of Henderson; two stepsons, Timothy Hodges of Lexington and Eric Hodges of Henderson; a sister, Kay Harrison of Cold Water, MS; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Scott Vanlandingham.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Tony Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
