April 26, 1948 - April 30, 2018

Richard “Rick” Charles Goff, age 70, of Barron, died peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Barron Care and Rehabilitation in Barron.

He was born on April 26, 1948 and lived in Barron his entire life. During high school, Rick made deliveries for James Pharmacy, and was an excellent golfer on the Barron High School Golf Team. He greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting. He worked at Barron Cooperative Creamery for many years until it closed, and then worked for the Barron School District as a one-on-one helper for the students with special needs. He was patient and kind, and loved by the students. Rick served on the board both for the Barron Foursquare Church and Growing Lights Christian Academy for many years.

In 2015 Rick married Marcia Humes at the Foursquare Church where they met and attended together. He was a caring, devoted husband and they had a happy, loving marriage for almost three years until his passing.

Rick was always positive and optimistic. He was never without a joke to tell, and especially loved to quote one-liners. He liked to play board games with Marcia. They enjoyed watching movies, being home with their dog Missy, and going out to dinner with family and friends. He loved God and trusted in Jesus Christ as his savior.
