Mrs. Hastings had retired from Hostess Bakery having worked in the production line for a number of years. She loved her dogs, flower beds and gardening and was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ.
She was married to Pal Hastings and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2008.
Surviving are 1 son, Joe Hastings of Florida; 6 grandchildren, Jerry Casey, Melody Dickerson, Crystal Harper Diana Crader, Jason Hastings and Ashley Hastings; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, June 2, 2018, in the Edwards Funeral Home at Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Steve Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Star Cemetery in rural Ripley County, Missouri.
