Geraldine Webb of Austin, Texas, age 91, passed away peacefully in her Austin home April 27, 2018.
Visitation will be at 9:30 am Wednesday, May 2, 2018, followed by services at 10:00 am. The celebration will be at Anderson Mills Baptist Church located at 10633 Lake Creek Pkwy in Austin, Texas. Rev. Rod Minor, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Taylor, Texas.
Geraldine Webb was born to Samuel and Dessie Langston in Taylor, Texas on January 2, 1927. She graduated from Taylor High School, Taylor, Texas, where she enjoyed being a twirler. She married the love of her life, Billy Rex Webb, in Austin, Texas. She always loved her role as a homemaker and especially enjoyed composing poetry. She and Bill were members of Anderson Mills Baptist Church for over 40 years.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Rex Webb. Also preceding her were her parents; Samuel and Dessie Langston; siblings: Paul Langtson. Sr., Elsie Walker and Margie Stromberg; niece and nephews: Nancy Langston, Harold Walker, Bernie Joe Walker, Kenny Langston, Elbert Langston, Paul Langston Jr. and Thomas Langston.
Geraldine is survived by her nephew Marvin Stromberg and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Anderson Mills Baptist Church or Taylor Memorial Baptist Church.
