Betty S. Duncan, 71, resident of Decatur, Arkansas, died April 29, 2018, at Mercy Hospital, Rogers, Arkansas. Born July 27, 1946, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Robert Burley Speed and Cleta Simpson. Betty married Richard Duncan on October 6, 1962. She was a payroll clerk for Franklin Electric for 32 years. Betty was a member of the Decatur Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister and 2 brothers and 1 daughter in law.
Survivors include her sons Roger Duncan of Tonitown, Arkansas, Jim Duncan of Rogers, Arkansas, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, 2 sisters, Freda Gibbs of Siloam springs, Arkansas and Wanda Straub of Freemont, California, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, Decatur Assembly of God church in Decatur, Arkansas. Burial will follow at the Decatur cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
