Other survivors include two daughters, Debra McMahan of Nashville, Tenn., Kathryn McKale of Lady Lake, Fla.; four sons, Mark (Debra) McKale of Orange Park, Fla., John McKale of North Palm Beach, Fla., Kevin McKale of Orlando, Fla., Michael (Caroline) McKale of Jupiter, Florida; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister Barbara (Charles) Schulz of Lexington, Ky.; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony McKale.
Mr. McKale was a 1952 graduate of Piqua Central High School, attended Miami University, and retired following thirty-six years of employment from the Montgomery Ward Company in management. He was also the President of the Palm Beach Furniture Company. He was civic minded throughout his life as evidence by his memberships in the Piqua Elks Club #523, Knight of Columbus Council #3344, the Dearborn Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce where he served as its president. He was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 11:00 am in St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Grilliot as the Celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Piqua Education Foundation, 719 E. Ash St., Piqua, OH 45356.
