Joseph J Meister, age 80, of Plain, died May 30, 1979 of an apparent heart attack. He was a member of St Luke Holy Name Society and was the owner/operator of Pleasant View Cheese Factory in Plain until 1965. He had been associated with the Meister Cheese Comapny in Muscoda. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; 6 daughters; 5 sons; one brother and 3 sisters. His funeral was held June 2 at St Lukes Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery. His obituary may be read in the The Capital Times, 1 June 1979.
