Jack E. Hendrickson
Former Hastings resident Jack Ernest Hendrickson, 69, left this life to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings.
Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings, with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery in Blue Hill.

Memorials may be given to the family.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.

Jack was born Feb. 22, 1949, in Omaha. He was adopted from the Nebraska Children’s Home Society on Aug. 12 1953, by his loving parents, Ray and Edith (Potts) Hendrickson of Blue Hill. He graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1967.
Jack was a house painter by trade and previously worked at the Hastings Regional Center. Jack had a passion for music, played guitar, loved animals, and was a free spirit.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Edith; son, Mike; brother, Don; and sister-in-law, Sue.

He is survived by his son, Chad Hendrickson of Hastings; daughter, Amanda Ayivodji of Stafford, TX; daughter–in-law, Chelsey Hendrickson of Gibbon; nephew,
Todd Hendrickson of Marysville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
