Preceded in death by step-father Enos Cope and brother Robert. Survived by his wife of 40 years the former Sheila R. Cox whom he married September 3, 1977 and children; Corey, Serrin and Brett, grandchildren Zane, Ty, Drake, Avery and new born Caliber. Brother of Peggy (Bobby) Carroll and Patsy Thomas.
Terry was a selfless, hardworking family man who was a friend to all and was called “The Measure of a Man”. Terry immensely enjoyed his children and grandchildren and was the proud spectator at all their games and recitals. He raised six children and was constantly in the car driving them to a million activities. Terry enjoyed music, sports (especially college football and loved the Florida Gators best). He loved music, watching NHRA drag racing, Barret Jackson auto shows, and car restoration and car fix it shows. In his earlier years he was a surfer and loved building car engines and restoring old cars. He had the ability to install and repair just about anything. He was a great conversationalist and could easily talk to anyone about anything.
Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Mary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6 to 8pm Tuesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held. The family suggest donations be made to Bishop Carroll Angel Fund, 728 Ben Franklin Highway, Ebensburg, PA 15931 in Terry’s memory.
